Description
The Hope Pro 5 steel MicroSpline freehub body is the replacement listed here for the E-bike 54 POE configuration, with a 12-speed MicroSpline cassette interface. Hope identifies this body as HUB558 in its E-bike MicroSpline parts diagram. This is a freehub body, not a complete rear hub.
Choose the listing option
| Option | SKU |
|---|---|
| X12/Boost Spacer | HUB558-X12 |
| No Endcap | HUB558 |
These are the two selectable options in this listing. Confirm the required drive-side spacer/endcap and the supplied package contents before ordering; the option name alone does not establish compatibility with every axle or hub configuration.
Check the hub, cassette and hardware
- Hub: identify the exact Hope hub model and its E-bike configuration. Do not assume a Pro 4 or another Pro 5 configuration accepts this body.
- Cassette: confirm that your cassette requires MicroSpline, rather than Shimano HG or SRAM XD.
- Engagement: Hope specifies 54 points of engagement for its Pro 5 E-bike hub. The 54 POE designation is not the cassette speed count.
- Hardware: match your axle standard and drive-side hardware to the applicable Hope hub documentation. Ask Hope or a qualified mechanic to confirm an uncertain conversion before purchasing.
54 POE E-bike or a different freehub?
Hope documents the E-bike 54 POE and standard MicroSpline 108 POE bodies separately. Do not select this steel E-bike body simply because your cassette uses MicroSpline. For a standard-body requirement, check the Pro 5 MicroSpline aluminium listing and confirm the exact hub fitment.
If your cassette needs a different interface, compare the HG steel E-bike body or XD steel E-bike body. These are alternative interfaces, not interchangeable cassette mounts.
For an uncertain order, send The LBS your hub model, cassette model, axle standard and a photo of the existing drive-side spacer. Confirm any additional hardware and fitting requirements before checkout.
